What happens at the first conversation with Reach To Care?

The first conversation is about understanding your situation. We talk through your NDIS plan, the support categories you are funded for, the goals you want to work towards and any preferences you have about how and when support is delivered. There is no obligation to proceed, and nothing is charged for this conversation.

What should I have ready before I get in touch?

It helps to have a copy of your current NDIS plan, so we can see which support categories are funded and how your plan is managed. If you have a support coordinator or plan manager, their contact details are useful too. If you do not have your plan to hand, we can still talk through your needs first.

How does Reach To Care match support workers to participants?

We match on the practical things that make support work day to day: the type of support you need, the times you need it, your location around Wagga Wagga, and your preferences around communication, language, gender and cultural background. If a match is not working, tell us and we will arrange an alternative.

Can I change my support worker or adjust my supports later?

Yes. Your supports are reviewed regularly and can be adjusted as your goals or circumstances change. If you would prefer a different support worker, or want to change the days, times or type of support you receive, contact us and we will arrange it. You are not locked into the original arrangement.

Do I need a service agreement?

Yes. A service agreement sets out the supports Reach To Care will deliver, when and how they will be delivered, what they cost against your NDIS plan, and the notice period for changes or cancellation. It protects both you and us, and gives you a clear written record of what has been agreed before support begins.

What does NDIS support from Reach To Care cost?

Supports are charged against your NDIS plan at rates that do not exceed the NDIA's published NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits. The exact cost depends on the type of support, when it is delivered, and your plan's funded categories. Your service agreement sets out the applicable rates in writing before support starts.
